About Our Office

Welcome to Our Healing Sanctuary

Perched on a hilltop in the serene surroundings of Lake Allatoona, we’ve crafted a unique space designed to foster healing and rejuvenation—a space birthed from my personal journey of recovery following a brain injury. During the years it took to regain my strength and clarity, I developed a daily routine and acquired tools that have been instrumental in reclaiming my life. This journey has shaped the foundation of our new clinic, occupying the entire ground floor of our recently acquired home, where both healing and discovery are our primary principles.

Gone are the days of navigating multiple clinics across town or enduring a sterile, impersonal environment. Now, we have established a state-of-the-art clinic seamlessly connected to a sound and music studio dedicated to exploring the profound connection between vibration and the human condition.

Recognizing the incredible potential of this setup, I’ve decided to open our doors to the public as I begin accepting patients once more. But this time, our approach will be different—more personalized, more focused, and more aligned with your unique journey to wellness. My focus will be on acute and chronic brain injury, accepting only a select few patients at a time. This allows me to dedicate my complete attention to each individual, unhindered by a waiting room of others.

You will experience the rare benefit of having your doctor’s pure and undivided attention, tailored solely to your specific needs—ensuring we reach our natural conclusion each session without the rush. As someone still navigating my own recovery journey, I remain deeply invested in this field, blazing a trail so others can follow safely behind me.

I believe in the power of a strong beginning, and like to see most new patients 2-3 times a week for an initial period of six to eight weeks. You will also receive missions to complete at home, reinforcing what we accomplish in the clinic. During this transformative journey, we will work together to explore various strategies to address your health and build momentum towards understanding and self-sufficiency. My ultimate goal is to empower you to become the steward of your own health, cultivating resilience and independence beyond our sessions.

Welcome to a new paradigm in healing—where you are at the heart of everything we do.

Get to Know Dr. Aaron

I was led into the healthcare field out of necessity. At the beginning of high school, I began experiencing stabbing pains in my legs that doctors couldn’t explain. The pain worsened and spread, and despite visiting some of the best medical facilities in the country, my condition was labeled as psychosomatic. My chiropractor was the only one who never gave up, tirelessly searching for answers. Eventually, after two years of suffering, I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. By then, I could neither walk nor push my own wheelchair, and I endured severe chest pains and memory loss that forced me to drop out of high school. Though I was told full recovery was rare, I fought through experimental treatments with a personal determination to hold the disease at bay.

I graduated from Life University with my Chiropractic degree and completed coursework in the Clinical Neuroscience program at the Carrick Institute, where I learned from Dr. Frederick Carrick himself. During grand rounds in Atlanta, I worked alongside 10-20 other doctors to examine complex patients from around the globe, combining our knowledge to design innovative treatment protocols. Working with such challenging cases early in my career prepared me in a unique way, and reminded me of my own struggles in health.

While I eventually found a path to manage Lyme with the help of a monk and doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, my greatest challenge came six years ago with a traumatic brain injury that turned my world upside down. The road to recovery was long and grueling, filled with surprise setbacks and moments of uncertainty. I tried to return to work, but it soon became clear I couldn’t perform my duties as I once did. Doctors and specialists offered limited solutions and I was often told there was no way forward, but I refused to accept that. I took my health into my own hands, diving deep into research, experimenting with therapies, and engineering breakthroughs—both small and large—that helped me rebuild my life. My journey taught me the power of resilience and the importance of looking beyond the conventional to find true healing.

I was told that I was imagining my pain, that I couldn’t go to college, that I couldn’t complete graduate school, that I’d never get better. Having an incurable condition or a life-altering injury doesn’t mean that you cannot improve. Being told something is impossible doesn’t mean that it is. If you approach any problem with an attitude of fun and determined imagination, you can find a way to improve the future.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Resounding Health unique?

What makes Resounding Health unique?

At Resounding Health, we pride ourselves on offering undivided, one-on-one attention to each patient. With no patients waiting in line, you'll never feel rushed during your sessions. This allows us to focus entirely on the important work we do together. Due to our commitment to seeing only a limited number of patients at a time, we have the time and resources to fully investigate each individual's needs and challenges, ensuring personalized care and attention.

Our approach is a harmonious blend of ancient techniques from Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, combined with modern chiropractic and functional neurology practices. This "best of both worlds" integration offers a comprehensive treatment experience that no one technique can provide alone. By combining these diverse methodologies, we help you achieve a balanced and holistic path to health and recovery.

What can I expect in my first visit?

What can I expect during my first visit?

During your initial visit, we will conduct a comprehensive neurological and chiropractic examination. This thorough assessment allows us to identify the areas where we can influence positive change and create a personalized plan tailored to your needs.

How long will the first visit take?

The first visit, including the full examination, typically takes between 2-3 hours. The duration depends on the complexity of your case, as we want to ensure we gather all necessary information to develop the most effective plan for you.

Will I receive any treatment during my first visit?

While the primary focus of the first visit is on assessment and planning, I usually like to provide at least a small bit of help whenever you come to visit. Depending on the time available and the specifics of your case, we may or may not move into treatments on the first day. Rest assured, our goal is to start you on the path to improvement as soon as possible.

How do I prepare for a session?

How should I prepare for my session?

To ensure the most accurate assessment and effective session, please follow these preparation guidelines:

1. Rest Well: Aim to come to the office well-rested. Adequate sleep is crucial for optimal brain function and will help us get the most accurate assessment.

2. Medication: Take any necessary and prescribed medications as usual. However, avoid taking any unprescribed supplements or other substances for several days prior to your visit. This helps us examine your brain function as it naturally stands, rather than treating effects from supplements.

3. Clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothing that allows for movement. We often incorporate movement and stretching-based exercises into our sessions.

4. Avoid Stimulants: Try to avoid caffeine or other stimulants unless we've specifically discussed them. This helps ensure that we're assessing your natural state.

5. Eat a Filling Meal: Have a nutritious and filling meal before your session, as the work we do can be energy-intensive.

By following these guidelines, you'll help us provide the most effective treatment and ensure a productive session. If you have any questions or concerns about preparation, feel free to reach out to us beforehand.

Can I participate in your services if I have no prior experience?

Can I participate if I have no prior experience?

Absolutely, no prior experience is required to participate. We start at the beginning with all patients, ensuring you have a solid foundation. Education is a significant part of coming into balance with your brain injury. By the end of your time here, you'll be familiar with various therapies and treatment options available both here and elsewhere. You'll even find yourself using neurological terms and identifying brain areas with ease!

This knowledge is empowering, enabling you to understand and influence what's happening with your brain and body. We'll learn together, and while it might seem like there's a lot to take in, rest assured that I'm here to support you. I'll handle whatever you don't put on your own plate, ensuring a balanced and manageable learning experience.

How do I make an appointment and get started?

How do I get in, make an appointment, and get started?

We believe in dedicating our full attention to each patient, which means we only see a limited number of serious patients at a time. This personalized approach ensures you receive the highest quality care.

To get started, we offer a free 15-30 minute initial consultation, either over the phone or in person. During this consultation, we'll discuss your condition and determine if our program aligns with your needs and goals. If you choose to proceed and are deemed qualified, you'll be placed on our waiting list. We'll keep you informed about your position on the list and the expected timeframe for starting treatment.

Once availability opens up, we'll begin scheduling your appointments. Our clinical immersion program is designed for qualified patients who can benefit from an intensive 3x/week schedule, involving comprehensive treatments and learning sessions. After completing the program, you can return for shorter booster sessions and are encouraged to find a local doctor to collaborate with us, tailoring ongoing care to your neurological profile. We're here to assist you in finding the right local support.

Do you accept insurance?
